The conference registration fee covers meals, entertainment and conference materials.
-The cost is $150 per person for registrations received by March 9th, 2018.
-Registrations received after March 9th will be charged at a rate of $175 per person and shirts/conference materials are not guaranteed.
-Refunds, minus a $50 administrative fee per registered attendee, are available through March 23rd.
-No refunds will be issued after March 23rd!

Who should attend?
The conference is geared towards high school juniors and seniors as well as college students. Activities have been planned to meet the needs of both student populations.
How do I reserve a room?
Participants will be staying at the Days Inn Hotel Flatwoods in Sutton, WV. The room cost is $95.00 with up to four individuals to a room. With your reservation, participants receive a free continental breakfast at Vision’s Restaurant (located inside the hotel).

What is expected of students during the conference?
As a participant of the WV TRIO Student Leadership Conference, students are expected to conduct themselves in a positive manner and to gain from the opportunities offered during the conference. Each student should read and sign the Student Code of Conduct and submit it when checking into the conference.
How can we best prepare for the conference?
Students should dress comfortably for the conference as they will be engaged in numerous interactive activities. They will be given a t-shirt to wear on the second day of the conference. For the Anne Crum Banquet, students will want to dress semi-formally. In other words, something that they would wear to a job interview.
Therefore, students should have ample opportunity to change clothes prior to the banquet and if they want to change afterward they will have easy access to their rooms. Also, be aware that the hotel has a swimming pool and hot tub that stay open until 11pm each night. The hotel has an 11pm curfew for ALL attendees and programs are expected to follow this curfew. Inform students that if they plan on swimming that they will need to bring appropriate attire. Also, participants are not to wear flip flops or pajama pants to any session.

What is the Dr. Anne Crum Leadership Banquet?
The banquet is an opportunity to celebrate the life of Dr. Anne Crum and the leadership principles which she exhibited to her family, peers and students. As part of the banquet ceremonies, each program is asked to select one of their students in attendance to receive the Dr. Anne Crum Director’s Award. The nomination form must be completed and a photo of the selected student emailed to email@example.com by no later than March 1st, 2018.
