Conference Attire/Hotel Information
Students should dress comfortably for the conference as they will be engaged in numerous interactive activities. They will be given a t-shirt to wear on the second day of the conference. For the Anne Crum Banquet, students will want to dress semi-formally. In other words, something that they would wear to a job interview. The banquet will be held at the Flatwoods Conference Center on Saturday, April 2nd at 6:30pm.
Therefore, students should have ample opportunity to change clothes prior to the banquet and if they want to change afterward they will have easy access to their rooms. Also, be aware that the hotel has a swimming pool and hot tub that stay open until 11pm each night. The hotel has an 11pm curfew for ALL attendees and programs are expected to follow this curfew. Inform students that if they plan on swimming that they will need to bring appropriate attire. Also, participants are not to wear flip flops or pajama pants to any session.
